Another area of our work is architectural design, including building interiors, with an approach that celebrates local culture, values, symbols and other distinctive elements:

Apartment in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro

Projeto de apartamento em Ipanema no Rio de Janeiro

Apartment design in Rio de Janeiro, in Ipanema, incorporating the iconic Ipanema promenade pattern in the living room rug and kitchen wall tiles, alongside blue tones recalling Rio’s sea and sky.

The light yellow polished cement floor reflects the colour of Ipanema beach sand, helping maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the year while making cleaning easy.

The furniture and rooms serve multiple purposes, providing flexibility and making the most of the apartment’s space.

Seafront Apartment in Salvador, Bahia

Projeto de apartamento na orla marítima de Salvador

Apartment design in Salvador, Bahia, on the city’s seafront, incorporating symbols of Bahian culture such as the berimbau musical instrument, wall sculptures of a Baiana, and Baroque styling in a depiction of the Cross of Jesus Christ.

  • Some furniture, including the chairs, uses blue tones to complement the sea view. The light-coloured porcelain floor tiles recall beach sand and are easy to clean.
  • The rooms are designed for multiple uses, allowing them to serve different purposes when needed.
  • The balcony features a whirlpool bath with a sea view, a shower and chairs for enjoying the view and sunshine.
